AGILEPRENEURS
ISO 9001 readiness

Get ISO 9001 ready. Win the work that requires it.

More agencies and primes expect a certified quality management system before they award the work. We prepare businesses of every size for ISO 9001 certification: gap assessment, documentation, implementation, and audit preparation, all run against a schedule.

Why it matters

Certification decides which bids you can even enter.

01

Eligibility

Some solicitations require a certified quality management system outright. Without it, the bid ends before it starts.

02

Evaluation

Where it isn’t required, it still counts. A documented, audited system reads as lower risk to the people scoring your proposal.

03

Discipline

The habits that pass an audit are the habits that deliver on time. Quality systems and schedules are the same muscle.

What we do

Readiness, start to audit day

We take your company from where its quality system stands today to the day the auditor signs off. The work is scoped up front and managed against dates, because that is how we run everything.

What you get

  • Gap assessment against ISO 9001
  • Quality manual and procedure documentation
  • Implementation support with your team
  • Internal audit and management-review preparation
  • Registrar selection and audit-day readiness

ISO 9001 readiness sits alongside the GSA Schedule and SBA set-asides we handle in certification readiness. One thing we won’t claim: the certificate itself. Certification is issued by an accredited registrar, not a consultant. Our job is making sure that when the auditor arrives, you pass. And a point of precision, because precision is the trade: ISO 9001 is the standard your company certifies against. ISO 9000 is simply the family of standards it belongs to.

Questions

ISO 9001, answered.

What is ISO 9001, in plain terms?

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems, and the only standard in the ISO 9000 family a company can certify against. Certification tells a buyer that your processes are documented, audited, and consistent: your company does what it says, the same way, every time.

Does a small business need ISO 9001 to win government work?

Only when the work demands it. Some solicitations require certification outright; others score it as evidence of lower risk. If the contracts you want keep asking for it, readiness stops being optional. If they don’t, we will say so.

How long does it take to get ready?

That depends on where your quality system stands today. A company with documented processes moves faster than one starting from scratch. The gap assessment at the start of the work sets the real schedule, and then we manage the effort against it, the way we manage everything.

Who actually issues the certificate?

An accredited registrar, not a consultant. No consultant can sell you a certificate, and you should walk away from any who claims otherwise. Our job is preparation: when the auditor arrives, you pass.

What if we already have a quality manual?

Then you have a head start, and we build on it. The gap assessment shows what already meets the standard and what falls short, so you spend effort only where the standard requires it.

Does certification expire?

Certificates run on a three-year cycle, with surveillance audits between. The habits that earn the certificate are the same ones that keep it, which is why we build a system your team will actually use.
